What is Psychotherapy?
Sometimes life can be difficult, confusing or unfulfilling.
I believe one of the most helpful things one person can do for another is to listen – with respect, acceptance and empathy - without offering solutions and without judgement.
Psychotherapy is an opportunity for you to explore your concerns and be heard and responded to with compassion.
It can help you to bring out the best in yourself, find new confidence and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
I don’t give you advice or tell you what to do.
My aim is to create a supportive environment in which you can express your feelings and tap into your own inner wisdom.
Core Process Psychotherapy
Core: appreciating your essential wellbeing
Process: understanding the journey
Psychotherapy: enquiring into your deeper Self
Core Process Psychotherapy is a mindfulness-based approach that draws from both Western developmental theory and Buddhist practices. The intention is to explore how you experience the present moment, with compassion and loving kindness.
By bringing awareness to the ways in which you relate to yourself and others, it is possible to gradually discover more choice, freedom and responsiveness in the face of life’s challenges.
